Would you give a cheater a second chance?

What do you guys think? Would you give your girlfriend/boyfriend a second chance if caught cheating?

Isn't it a tough one especially if you have gotten so use to the person and never suspected anything. Imagine how disappointed one would feel.



Its easier for ladies to stay faithful than guys (sorry this sounds sexist lool ). You find more guys cheating on their girlfriends than girls cheating on their boyfriends. A lady requires attention, affection and appreciation.

Anyways, what if your bf/gf is usually one that is very reliable and dependable, regrets being unfaithful, promises to be faithful, and you do believe that the two of you love one another? would you because of this let it go and give a second chance ?

Some guys say they'll  break up immediately if they find out their girlfriend cheats on them and they'll never give her another chance regardless of how "good" things are because they'll never be able to let go of the mental image of her cheating on them. They believe that cheaters are often repeat offenders and that they'll feel stupid if it happens the second time.

Meanwhile some ladies feel a cheater should never get another chance that Infidelity in a committed relationship is the single most hurtful thing one can do to their partner that a cheater cannot possibly love their partner if they can do that to them, and therefore don't deserve a second chance.

But I feel its easier said than done. Kindly share with us your thought on this .
