Is First Impression Really a Long Lasting Thing?

Presentation Is Everything. Your appearance, manners, attitude, posture and the way you speak says it all! People's appearances and speech can portray their perspectives and attitudes toward life whether you like it or not first impression is effective and plays a prominent role when meeting an individual for the first time. No matter whom you’re meeting or what you’re meeting for, you always want to have poise.

Yes first impressions are lasting impressions that stay with someone forever but is first impression really a long lasting thing? Its only natural that if you have a poor outward form or poor manners, nobody would like to have any relationship with you. Be it business relationship, employer-employee relationship or even friendship.
Moreover, in the process of making a great first impression always remember to be yourself .Don't try to hide who you are or sugar coat things just be truthful .Don't pretend,

But is first impression really a long lasting thing? If you have got to be linked to a person for a long time, then first impression wouldn't matter? or would it still matter? I think the

real thing should be the sincerity of a person, the Inner being because a  person can appear nice and amiable at first but when you find out his or her true self, it may not be what you perceived.
