Every Sales Rule is Applicable to Life

As a sales person, there are various things you look out for in a prospective customer- especially one that can afford your product.

Aside from ensuring you have contacted the key person in the organization, you need to know if he has 3 things which are referred to as MAN: Money, Authority and Need (you have to make a value even while you're considering profit).

Some prospective customers may have Money, have the Authority, and a need but for some reasons they'll just not purchase your product. Now, i guess (MAN) isn't just the only thing to look out for then.

Perhaps they don't know they need it. Does this mean you need to make them realize that they need your product ? Don't forget, you're a sales person with so much integrity and professionalism . You're not out for just your profit alone but you also want your customers to know you're adding value to their organization. This is what makes you different from a Street sales guy.

Anyway there are some customers that have want you're looking out for in a customer and you've been successful in creating a relationship (Relationship is key in sales. A customer will buy from you if you are his friend to some extent. well you'll agree with me that to make a sale relationship has to be there.)

 Lemme not deviate. You've been able to put things in place but yet you don't get any RFQ from this customer. Don't you think the customer has another vendor he patronizes and he's loyal to ? 

See! the koko of the matter is

WAKE UP !

Some customers are time wasters. while you're busy staying stuck to the one you think has those things you look out for, you're obviously sleeping on a bicycle because another customer that has just Money and Need would have given you RFQ but No! you're there believing you've got a big shot .
 If you don't still get what all this long talk is all about then you're case is a special one o.lol...

Well am referring to those guys that are time wasters they have everything you want and they act all nice and all but no head way. You better wake up and focus on the more serious ones . Now the key thing is how do you identify the time wasters ?? Don't allow any time waster in your life. No matter how long and how attached to this person you might think you have become, severing the relationship will clear the way for you to meet the right person. If not you'll get stuck with them if you are not careful. The relationship will not progress beyond where and what it is.  This kind of relationship is not healthy at all; it can hinder you from the real person.

I know it is not good to rush things but I also know there should not be any stalling; you should at some point get clear on what the relationship is about and where it is headed.  You should be able to talk about your relationship instead of assuming things.

Hanging in this kind of “uncertain” relationship makes people think you are already “with” someone, so the people who might have approached you might not want to intrude.

Please try not to assume anything, especially if you are ready for marriage, after the first few dates you should ask to know what the guy wants from you if he is not saying. And you as a man should not keep any lady in the dark, define the relationship, even if the relationship ends up not working out like you planned. This is what a person of integrity should do.

If you ask once and ask twice and there is no clear response and months have come and gone(sure before then you go dan shine your eyes well well sef . lool ) I believe you should move on by then o and make room for the right person.
